Pre-Registration opens in mid-March:
ABF now provides a pre-registration
so you can create an account in advance of signing up for events.
This allows you to enter basic information without feeling rushed
on the day of opening events. For example, Pre-registration will asked
for your name, address, eBird username (if you have one), age group,
and how you heard about ABF. It will also allow you time to read our
cancelation policy and sign our waiver agreement. If you have attended
ABF in the past, you still need to create a new registration this
year.
When you pre-register, you have the option of paying for
PREMIUM registration ($40), which will allow you to select events
on MARCH 30 (a few days earlier than regular registration on APRIL
2). We recommend PREMIUM registration if there are specific
trips you wish to be on, OR if you have a group that wants to be on
all the same trips. If you have a group, note that each person in
the group must pay for PREMIUM registration to access the early selection
of events. The number of PREMIUM registrants will be limited. Please
note that we have over 100 trips, so however you pre-register (PREMIUM
or REGULAR), there will always be trips to choose from. We have never
reached our capacity of trip offerings.
Special Note for GROUPS: The best way to pre-register
a group is for one person to fill in the information for the group by
first entering their individual information. Once the first individual
is entered, there is a button to add another person to your group. You
can continue to add members to your group, one at a time, until all
members are entered, and they should by linked. Your linked group members
will make it easier (though not guaranteed) for you to get all members
on the same trips in April.

Selection of Events opens APRIL

We recommend that you pre-register in March before the opening
of event selection in April. This will give you more time to focus
on your event selection and not feel rushed entering your basic registration
information (name, address, etc) when events open. See our options
of PREMIUM vs REGULAR registration mentioned above. Also, if you are
with a group, please refer to the "Special Note for Groups"
above.
